Sadly, I'm now unlikely to follow the FtF path ever,(or near it), but am following this topic with great interest. When Ronnie & LN appeared on here and started telling it as it is and therefore educating us big-time, I thought to myself 'Ay up--this sounds VERY interesting'....As stated, facts is facts. I've had no respect for 'authority'(councils/police/government etc) (for various reasons) for many years, as they are simply out there to control & exploit us common oiks. There is no 'justice' as commonly believed. The 'planning system' is a tool of the landed gentry/ ruling classes to control the little man, who you may have figured by now is worth nowt!Power should be reclaimed by all lawful means, to control ones' own lawful existence. Power to yer elbow...

Chris thank you for your interest and support it would seem.

Dare I ask what happened on the F2F road?

I truly believe that this forum is going to contribute massively to the resurgence of the Common Law and its putting the balance of power back where it belongs and where it originated; the people and NOT CORPORATE UK.
There are at present a small but important number of folk here I'm helping with council issues. These people are re making history. Councils will have to make way for common sense and common law. It's happe now in a council chamber near you..!!!!

I think I'm finally starting to get it, because my immediate reaction to reading Ronnie's letter from the Council was 'No one is asking for your acceptance, he is just telling you how it is!'

"..If said council STILL wants to proceed they're liable. They soon understand, they're on a learning curve too.." hahaha That is so true!

I am loving this thread. Can't wait for the next installment :)

Well, the council has responded over the second notice just to let me know that they have received my notice and that they have passed it on to the CEO Penny James who will respond later, then it is signed by Penny James??

I really don't think they know what they are doing. After today, if they write to me and want a response, they will be liable for paying me £350 for every reply they want from me.... So please bring it on :girlcrazy:

I suppose technically and legally  Penny James has answered your letter.  Might be handy to keep that for the courts.

I would certainly insist on receiving the money for any replies.   It works, I have done it.  People don't like to bother you if it costs them. And any letter unaccompanied by a cheque can be rejected for breach of contract.

Looks like you might be onto a winner,  They will bring out bigger guns in due course.   Good luck.

My experience of local Councils is that they are spectacularly incompetent... This has done nothing to change my mind.

It's very funny :comando:

I didn't get any money from my council.  This was another matter from a local private rd company, who were trying to impose their will on me regarding parking.

A group of people bought the unmade rd that we used to live on.  They wanted to charge people for rd maintenance.  I refused because in the deeds, i was liable for upkeep of my little stretch.

I had to explain to them that they had purchased a liability, not an asset.  And if they wanted to continue litigation it would cost them £45 a letter.   They wrote back not enclosing a cheque,  I sent them a bill and reminder.  That was 7 years ago.   We have moved since.

Thank you pony, it is a big game as far the council is concerned. I have come to the conclusion that most officers in the council are employed because they take pleasure in trampling over the rest of us, so its nice to be in the position where what is thrown at us we can throw back twice as hard :nhl:

Hi Debs.

I haven't yet, only because I need to get hold of the money to buy a log cabin that doesn't cost too much. I will be getting a couple of shipping containers to put on the land so we can start moving all our possessions back on site first, no doubt our lovely neighbours will be straight on the phone to the council the moment the containers arrive.

I will be keeping everyone on here informed of every move we make and the responses we get from both the council and the neighbours, so keep watching :girlcrazy:

Everything is now in place (paperwork wise) for Ronnie to move back onto her own land and do whatever she likes as long as it causes no harm or loss to another.

There is nothing her Council can do about it. All her Notices have been in front of a Commisioner for Oaths, sworn out and delivered to the Council. Nobody from the council can, or has, rebutted a single point. [they cant]

Therefore everything stated stands in law. If the council moves against that which is agreed they are liable and the CEO will be held personally liable for the actions of her employees.

Job done. One happy lady

Hi Ben

I'm not sure specifically what you mean, I kind of do, but really 'you're' challenged in some way or another at most stages.

In Ronnies case since we've done things properly from the start she's not been challenged on anything yet. You've seen the responses to our Notices posted up here on this thread.

In my case (Im sure I was the first case of its kind in these parts) they didn't so much challenge me on my points but ploughed on regardless.... Up to a point... That point being my invoices for their trespasses. Things soon ground to a halt. If they had any jurisdiction over me I would be toast by now.. However they have not got jurisdiction and can not do a thing.

I have a handful of dedicated persistent complainers that complain daily to the Council about me. If they could shut me up they'd have done it by now as nothing would give the council or its complainers more satisfaction...They can't anf I've done no harm to no man. In short I mind my own business. Some people in my village find that impossible to achieve.

Also remember we are challenging the council and the courts in some cases for members of this forum. When that ordeal is over I am very sure you will get to read about it here in the Common Law section when those members are ready to talk about it. I for one believe they will and it will inspire and give hope to all of you that read it.

So....even if the council DO challenge 'you'. They will still fail in Court. Especially for those that get the paperwork correct from the outset
