Hi
I am completely new to this forum and although we first brought the field to farm book a good few years ago, we are only just now in a position to begin using it - I hope! Feeling very at sea at the moment and not sure what to do for the best. Hoping for some advice and guidance. We have just brought a 26acre redundant dairy farm with lots of barns in various states of repair. We have moved onto the land in a mobile home and we currently run a tree surgery / forestry business. Our plans are to begin farming - hay, silage, beef cattle, rare breed goats & pigs, orchard and possibly tree nursery and we hope to convert one of the barns to live in. That's about it in a nut shell! I would really like to hear some views and opinions on this plan, where we stand in converting a barn rather than building one and some pointing in the right direction as what to do first in regards to planning............ waiting with a nervous twitch!

Thanks!
Jody
