Power for us Field to Farmers!
by Cornish Gems 23 May 2012 21:04
You have just simply got to check this out! We have done so and are absolutely amazed at what we have learnt. We were contacted by another forum member and this is the result!.......
Host a wind turbine at no cost and earn rent
Having a small-scale wind turbine installed costs you nothing. The supplier will apply for planning permission and grid connection. They also develop your site and, if all falls into place, arrange to pay you a rent linked to earnings from the turbine.
The turbines in question are 25 to 35 metres tall and generate clean electricity.
For further information please contact [email protected] Please quote Field to Farm when you contact Tim.
The only thing we have to pay for is a transformer!! Please, please, if you can, do not hesitate to take advantage of this amazing offer! All you have to do is send a message to Tim Bailey at the email address above.

Solar Farms in Cornwall
by Cornish Gems 14 Feb 2012 19:27
Currently there is a tremendous amount of construction going on near us here in North Cornwall and we trolled the planning website to find out what was going on. Unfortunately it does not come up using the local post code or name of the farm where the work is going on..we found out that this is due to the nature of the website as the application was not made using the site address it was using the office address of the company building the Solar Park.
We found it on the website for the Protection of Rural England
Click here for Solar-Farms-in-Cornwall you will be astounded as to the number that will be sprouting up all over the county, from Bude to Saltash and out to Lands End, north, south, east and west Cornwall.
So check it out if you are looking for land in Cornwall or see if it will affect the value of your land.

Smallholders fair and auction
by Cornish Gems 26 Jan 2012 10:29
Just a note for the diary, Saturday February 4th at Holsworthy Market there is to be a Pig, Poultry and Smallholders Fair and Auction along with a Dispersal Sale to be run as normal by Kivells. This all starts at 10am. There are bargains to be found if one looks and does not get carried away .
Hope to see a few of you there.
