Hello all
What is the going rate per acre for renting out land for sheep grazing? Who is responsible for their welfare (water, feed, shelter, etc.) The landowner or the tenant? How many sheep can they keep per acre?
Land is under Article 4 so planning permission is required for bowser, IBC if stationed at the land. I believe this would be the landowner's responsibility.
Thanks
Mil

Hi Mil
Regarding the rate - have a look at http://www.rivercott...-worth-to-rent/
Also I found this interesting because I have seen posts on the FtF about the value of grazing land. This one gave me a shock!

Welfare - it is the responsibility of the owner - but you must have a signed contract which says so. Good luck!
