Merry Christmas and a successful new year to all!
We've just had our first Christmas on our farm. It was a bit "cozy", 3 of us and a basset in our touring caravan. We managed fine though! Cooked the meat on the barbie, daughter and I had nut roast, done in the halogen oven, potatoes a bit: overcooked!, BBQ was hotter than we anticipated, lol.
Ewes are looking a bit plumper - in lamb hopefully, our two (pet) pigs are loving the mud, and we're getting ready for poultry in New Year.
Looking forward to proper mobile home next Summer..when pennies permit! Land cost more than we budgeted but then again it came with outbuildings so can't grumble.
Loving being here, building our new life. All quiet on the Western front too.
Here's to a productive 2016...less rain would be nice!
