Last time we hired a telehandler it was around £100 for a day self drive.  If you're all prepared, know where you want your posts, strings for straight lines and posts laid out (we ram the point into the ground by hand which is usually enough to hold them upright as seen here, then just work along the lines.  Person on the ground gives a second perspective to them going in straight and to the right depth.

Thanks so much for all your replies...
I love the telehander elegantstorm, something I will definitely look into tomorrow.
I spent last night looking for £2000 tractors, no luck, any suggestions on where I might find one?
We've booked a digger hire for the weekend to level and dig some foundations for the non-business side of our land (got 9 weeks to move out of our current rented yard!)... As soon as we booked the digger a friend and a neighbour suggested a couple of local people that could lend/rent us a digger and a tractor with post driver, so fingers crossed these leads come up trumps!
Still finding chestnut posts really hard to come by, any suggestions?
Xx
