hi
would renting out plots of your own land acceptable to be inc within the means test of viability .
resaon is i have been reading up about private allotments and especialy allotments for disacbled users ,as ther may be grant funding towards these type projects .obviously indirectly income is being generated from somthing being grown on your land. plus you could have a captive client base for additions sales of sundries/better services I.E water /power??
anyway what are your thoughts ?

Hi
Wonderful idea unfortunately allotments are not an agricultural use and as a change of use away from agriculture would occur then planning permission would be required and as it is not agricultural the income cannot be used towards the viability test.

Hi Hope
Renting land for sheep keep would be ok and could be added to the income , but at around 35 p / sheep / week, you are not going to make much and the grazing would be best kept for your own animals.
