Hi - stil living under "temporary" and still "battling" with "they that must be obeyed"........ now 9 years and 9 months on site but only 3.4 years in cabin and things coming to a head..... but I digress. I need advice from someone more knowledgeable than I OR "been there, done it, etc."
I have a borehole supply. No tank. I want to have some sort of switch that turns the underground borehole water pump on whenever ----
A/ I turn the insidecoldd water tap on;
B/ The central heating boiler needs topping up;
C/ The immersion heater is emptied during bath;
E/ The cattle troughs float drops;
and
F/ When I use the stand pipe for filling stable buckets.
So...... I know I would need some sort of switch between the pump and the junction for all these off shoot pipes...... but I am thinking that if there is some sort of switch that turns on the pump when I turn on the water tap or the trough flow kicks in..... when it switches off the water will fall back down the pump vertical tube meaning there is no pressure to kick start the switch. I know that is confusing but perhaps someone else (a wordsmith ---- is Dave C still around?) can explain better. Thanks in anticipation. Have a GREAT day!!!
