I've upgraded the following to the latest versions..

Main forum

Chat (maximum people who can chat is back to 20 again)

Gallery

The Land Shop

Social Groups

Tutorials

Have also added snow which was an important addition. These upgrades should stop the spammers and means you can all use chat again.

Let me know if any of these upgrades have broken things..

Thanks

Is that 20 in total or 20 in each separate window?

Do the upgrades mean that The Land Shop is going to put up some more properties for sale?

and i have just tried to edit that post twice but it is not saving changes!!!

When I signed in just now, I got an error message along the lines of "oops, you do not have permission to do that!"  and that there seemed to be a problem with my sign-in.

Now it is telling me my post is too short!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  wtf?????

Please can you check these, Steve?

That is not good news!

Nor is that!

And that!

Is that, or that, or even that, now going to happen to us as well?

Romany had to log out and then back in again. It's likely that the site upgrade invalidated her browser session.

Anyone else seeing issue should do the same.

Thanks ever so much for all the wonderful upgrades.  The pic you have given us is really great!

Please could you give ShaunP an 'instant' and Roger an Ixworth chicken?  Or are we pushing our luck?

Since the site upgrade I cannot reply in the planning permission forum. I have a solution to our Cornish friends problem on how to position mobile units on large concrete blocks/mushrooms that is effective, safe and most important to us all cheap and able to be done by almost anyone that I wish to share with al.l

Hi, to post in the planning permission forum you need to be in the 'book owners' group. If you have purchased Field to Farm please private message me the last work on page 2 and I'll add you. Thanks

Do not like the way in which the 'quote' option operates now.

I don't like the way I have to keep proving I am a 'book owner'. I think it is a good idea as a way to allow access to some of the forum to those of us that have financially contributed to the site via purchasing the book. However I purchased the book more as a way to communicate with like minded people than as a way to find out how to do it, as I had already studied planning laws to the degree that I was aware of  95% of the content that enables readers to do as they are, and needing to prove I am eligable with regularity is irritating to say the least! This is the third time now and I have never had this problem with any of the other restricted entry forums that I am a member of despite none of them being a profit making venture.

With respect, we can find no record that you have contacted us with the necessary password.

Please therefore check your pms and see who you have notified previously.

In view of this, we would recommend that any member who has contacted an administrator or moderator regarding the password should keep the pm in Messenger.

I don't believe it was you that I contacted in the past in regards to book ownership, I think it was Steve or admin (if that isn't steve)
