Hello all
Just been reading the comments about log cabins size.
Like other members I too wish to live on site in a log cabin - as opposed to traditional mobile home.
The preceived wisdom seems to be that the cabin is classified as 'mobile' if it can be bolted together on site - which makes the assumption that the cabins are pre-assembled.
The model I have in mind is delivered in kit form and assembled on site on top of a base of railway sleepers or slabs etc. In could be dismantled and moved elsewhere (if necessary) as it has no permanent foundations.
Does this qualify as a mobile home for these purposes?
