Hi, first time on line here, can anyone help me...I own 7.5 acres and rent a further 20 we have 20 ewes and 4 horses grazing at present, chickens, ducks etc, we have no storage for the animals feedstuffs, hay etc, we had an old dilapitated large shed type building which is unuseable so our hay is outside under tarpaulin. So we put in our first 28 day notice which the LPA replied saying 'disallowed' as not PD. We didn't realise at the time but we followed the book when it said to put in for a big size barn, which we did. but we are just outside the 3km distance of an airport so the barn plans we submitted were too big(our mistake) this was confirmed at appeal with the Inspector, this being the only reason for the dismissal. So we put in another 28 day notice with significantly reduced barn size plans keeping everything under the permitted requirements just to be sure this time but again the LPA refused, confusing issues with letters of complaints they had received from 'objectors', although in their report they admitted that the barn now comes under PD.....we are now half way through our second appeal so my question is, as the Inspector only dismissed on the size of the barn and no other reason, now the barn has been reduced, can they bring up other reasons or would they have done so on the first visit. We do fit the criteria of all the points in the book...does anybody know or had any experience of this, please let me know if possible...thanks.
