Dave, you mention in the book the various descriptions that are used for land. Would you suspect any issues with land specified as arable with a brownfield specification?

Hi
Brownfield sites are places that in the past were used for industrial purposes or a process was carried out that was likely to contaminate the ground. This can even have been a blacksmiths shop, however I would steer clear of land of this type as it can cost a lot of money getting site surveys and reports and if there is contamination then getting the contaminated soil removed.
