Brilliant idea, happy to join in such a venture, equipement share , knowledge etcWe were wondering whether anyone would think it was a good idea to have a new board for Location. For instance, we would like to have a thread for Devon and Cornwall so that all forum readers would be able to find out about local enterprises who would buy our fleeces, animals, etc; shear our alpacas; hire out equipment at a reasonable cost; supply straw, hay, etc; planning consultants, etc, etc - the list is only limited by the services available in a particular area.

If you are willing to populate the specific forum area for Devon / Cornwall then I'll create it and other people can hopefully add in their recommended suppliers and local offerings. If that works out and we get some stuff in there I'd be open to creating more subforums for other areas under regional.
Thanks,
Steve

Piglet ask Steve to creat a area for Somerset as SW is too general, we are on the Cornwall/Devon border and Somerset is a fair distance if doing swaps etc . but then again if you got anything we dont mind the travel.I think that is a great idea - might it be better to be a bit more generalised - for example the South West rather than Cornwall and Devon. That way it would include Somerset - where I am and I would like to be able to find information of what is available in this area - or do swops, etc. Piglet

What about Cheshire (North West England) area, where I am. It seems like most people are in the south of the country.
