I have seen a number of posts on the forum lately that concern me. Some people seem to be under the impression that they can use the book as a development tool. The aim of field to farm was to empower people who want to live on agricultural land, build smallholding and live their dream. It was never meant to be a get rich quick scheme.
You will receive a far better reception from planning officers and the community if you genuinely do want to build an agricultural business as part of the community.

I had noticed this too.
I am back after a failed attempt to purchase a goodly plot. on my return here I find lots of entrepreneurs ready to make cash, before the 'dream' is met.
Not such a bad thing in my book really, as it may be the case that they (the posters) have all the easy (huh) stuff out of the way and they are thinking ahead. Why not?
The written text is sometimes mistaken for other meanings (like this one to you, as you might think it is a little 'wagging of the finger at you', but its not) and its true intention is lost.
I suppose it boils down to whether one can answer the questions or not.
