Steve is there any way we could have a moderator only thread. After the messing about with the missing Wiseowl post would it not be of benefit to have a thread, access for moderators only & then the mods can actually resolve these issues together in private rather than publicly.

For example: If a moderator decided to unapprove a thread they could then post what they have done & why in the moderator thread so that all the moderators know why, becasue if there is a genuine reason for unapproving a thread by one moderator surely its not correct for another moderator to just go back onto that post & approve it without the background of why its pending. If any of that makes sense :D

Forgot to add that if a moderator then came across an invisble thread, popped into the moderators thread & there was no notice in there by a moderator giving reason as to why then one could assume that it had been done in error & rectify it stragiht away.

If this is possible I think it would be a good idea particularly if we are ever put in the position to close or delete topics and posts. I know we all delete the sex adverts without referral but these are a no brainer. I for one would be uncomfortable takeing such drastic action without a second opinion.
It is also a way of increasing dialouge and understanding between moderators. Frankly friction between administrators is a recipe for disaster. It will be exploited by some unscrupulous members for there own ends. We all need to put the forum first and the rest should look after itself.
