Anyone see page 10 about lighting?? I notice they didn't mention street lighting in that article. Where I live atm, street lighting is so bright as to make it akin to daylight (and I'm in a rural village near a market town in the middle of agri country!). I have to have blackout blinds on bedroom windows, but these are not enough to block it completely, so I am presuming the 'guidelines' of restricting light to less than 18 times the brightest moon must be being flouted. Wonder what the local planners would say if (when) the brand new houses opposite have outside lights installed?
Another case of one rule for them and another for us? Grrrr . I really don't get why they can't look at their own 'breaches' before 'planning' to come down on ordinary folk.
Anyone had any problems with the issue of outside lighting on their land? I'm going to have to have something on mine eventually, so it pays to be prepared .
