The book doesn't seem to mention what permission is needed for animal sheds, stables and the like. I take it non-permanent structures (i.e wood buildings of a certain size) wouldn't need any planning? What about other structures in block, like pig-pens etc?
Also, I have seen many local farmers offer storage for caravans, used shipping containers and, amoungst other things, vehicle storage. Are there any restrictions I might face also renting space out for this type of venture? I have my own mobile toilets business and currently rent yard space. Can I move the equipment onto my smallholding and charge my loo business for the pleasure?! What about other people?
And finally... can I dig a fishing lake on the land, or do I need planning!
