Some may not be aware the land owner does no necasserily have to be the person who applies for planning on a development. Any one can do this, they do not have to own the land , that is yours. A lease holder may apply for certain planning. So a neighbouring farm may in certain circumstances , may apply for say....a farm workers cottage. This may be a larger farm, of a dairy farmer ,or some one who needs a manual worker close at hand for large herds.

Any experience from member may help others :) ATB
