Hi all,
Ever thought how much the planning system costs us. Shropshire Dvelopment Teams comprises 90 people all with their own phone. At a very conservative salary estimate of £20000 = £1.8 million. Wickipedia estimates there are 82 local goverment authorities in England = £147.6 million. Add 25% to cover employment costs ie NI pension etc = £184.5 million. This does not include office costs, support staff and expenses. Add a considerable amount for central government involvement and you have an incredible cost to the taxpayer. Might ask my MP for an accurate breakdown.
Lets hope Dave or Nick are reading this, if so fill yours boots lads.
