Having now carried out the best part of a 1000 meters of stock fencing i feel i have sourced the best price best quality natural Chestnut Fencing with the bark still on, these posts will outlast any machined and treated timbers.

6ft Long 3 to 4 inch posts (whole) £2.00 e collected from Farnham Surrey

8inch Strainers chestnut £9.00 e collected from Farnham Surrey

I can recommend UK manufacturer UNIWIRE for stock high tensile wire

regards

supplying the posts

i have sourced them direct from the forest, the wire i recommend uniwire, i bought 200meter rolls for the same retail price of 100mtr rolls, but they are heavy for handling\\

we paid a local farm contractor £3 a meter to fit it as they had tractor and driver and they did it in about 3 days
