I've created a website for free and it was pretty easy. I haven't got a .com address asthat costs money, I just wanted a website to promote my farm and to get my ethos across to customers. Visit weebly.com. It is quite simple - I just created it over a couple of weeks, adding pages and info as I thought of it. My site is www.oldwestongardenfarm.weebly.com

Shepie, you'll either need to get someone to do it for you or learn how which isn't an overnight job. There are a number of ways to do it but they all involve uploading a bunch of files by ftp to your hosting account.
If you want to learn I'd probably go with wordpress:

Definitely wordpress - I've got no skills and I have built myself several sites with this.
Choose an easy template that has been downloaded lots, to start with, work on the appearance more later.

Using wordpress - you can download apps to the site.
Most templates have 5 pages + a blog page. looking at your diary, perhaps blogging won't be your top priority :-) , you don't have to use this page.
If you blog:
One that is essential (to my mind) will allow you to choose stock photo's that are available under creative commons - you don't want someone with copyright chasing you. Always have photo's on a blog.
You can also get wordpress to feed your twitter and facebook pages, to boost your profile
And, if you blog, use "permalinks", "tags" and "categories" to boost your serach engine visability.

You have the Fasthost Bronze package. This comes with 'OneClick Installer' which lets you install over 60 apps with just one click. One of these apps is Wordpress.
http://www.fasthosts...ting/one-click/
This means you would not have to use ftp to upload Wordpress to use it for your site.
I have 'OneClick Installer' on my hosting package and it really is that easy.
You may find that the Website Builder that comes with your Fasthost account will suit your needs fine, however, Wordpress gives you another option.
The main thing is to just try it. You can't really break anything. If you use the Website Builder but then don't like the results just delete it and try something else like Wordpress. When I first decided to use something like Wordpress I installed every package I could find, played around with them and then decided Wordpress was the one to use and just deleted all the rest.
