Hi all, can anyone help me please. Four years ago we bought some land with derelict buildings, did them all up, applied for planning as an Equestrian Centre with a temp. workers dwelling, received planning and all was well. It took us a year to bulld the place, spent a small fortune on it, now we are at the end of the 3yr temp.workers accomodation the council that at first recommended approval for the perm. dwelling, They reported back with confirmation of functional need, then because the local councilors kept deferring it and asking for more accountants to look at the accounts, incidently the profit was £27K, turnover was £65K, finally the council has come up with some people to throw doubt on the accounts. We are now going to appeal on Non determination because it has been 12 months since our application. This years accounts show £75K turnover, £35K profit. We went down the horse route, perhaps not the smartest move?! We have 50 acres. My question is now we have been living in the temp. workers dwelling for four years can I apply for a lawful occupation certificate under the 4 year rule? So if the worst thing happens they won't be able to get us off? Any help or advice please?
