I had a planning consultant here last week with a view to options about a building I have.It was built in the early 80s as an agri building but it looks like a bungalow.It is about 95 sq meters.
The new policy that became legal on 31st May 2013 is very interesting.
He told me that as it is below 150 sq meters I can convert it into 'A retail shop,tea rooms,resturant.hotel or a bed and breakfast.without formal planning.I just need to inform the council of my intent.
It still will be hard to turn it into residential.
I hope to go down the bed and breakfast route.
Any thoughts.???????
