Hi there

We are the proud owners of 4 acres of land with  stable block, barn, driveway and connected water, electric, cess pit, etc

I have registered it  and we have  county parish holding number, but no livestock as yet, except chickens. We have maintained the land by mowing but would like to grow our own hay this year...

I have a few questions which i hope you could help with

How can i find out exactly what I can use the land for? ( title is very vague but previous owners had sheep and horse)

Are we breaking any rules just mowing it?

Also, and advice on how to do small scale hay or straw?

We are new to land owning but super keen!!!!

Many thanks
