Hi F2F,
We are going through the appeals process to hopefully extend our period of building and engineering works as the local authority have enforced against us living in a mobile home on the land. The works are not finished but the LPA say the 2 years we have had is enough to complete it and will not back down as they have had a lot of complaints.
We don,t understand what will happen if we lose. The original compliance period was 4 months. We believe if we lose, the 4 month compliance period (or if increased by the inspectorate) will start from the appeal decision date. Is that correct?.
We are in the process of getting together our planning application for 3 year temporary agricultural permission to live on the land. If towards the end of our compliance period (if we should lose) we submit our planning application will that then stop our eviction from the land while that application is being determined.
If that's the case would it also hold up our eviction if we then went to appeal on the 3 year temporary planning application if we weren't successful with that.
Know it all sounds a bit negative but we would like to understand the worst case scenario.
We do not want to leave of course and we have over 100 milking goats to look after which would make it difficult from afar.

If the above doesn't allow us to stay on the land then perhaps we can do a second 28 day notice for an agricultural barn (which we very much need). Can the application for a new 28 day notice go in from when they received the application 2 years previously or would it be 2 years from when we actually gained the permission. We can then, we hope re-start our building and engineering and stay.

Many thanks in advance
