We had a thought of having some goats as we were under the impression that they would eat anything! As we have an overgrown area and they seemed ideal, however reading a book titled Raising Goats it appears that goats will not eat anything and plants such as Buttercups, Sorrel and Clover are poisonous to them.

The book does not say how much or to what degree the above will poison goats.

Can anyone enlighten us as goats seemed a better option than topping and strimming.
