Hi we went to appeal in November 2011 still awaiting a decision ref 2155813.
Basically we are on our land farming and repairing some existing structures walls bridge water works and water storage tank.
Planning permission has been applied for and refused every time.
The details of the case are online , but we appealed under caravan act 1960 and ground c we are doing what the council say but we are allowed to do it.
The inspector was professional and fair. I felt relived to have been heard and he paid a lot of attention to our vegetable growing and dairy goats as they take up a lot of our time.
A diary of your activities is extremely important. In our case we move from forestry operations to horticultural/agricultural and building/engineering depending on time of year and opportunity.
We are preparing a one plannet development application along the lines set out by Llamas, partly because we are in wales and partly because we are into low carbon living and to skint to afford a large carbon footprint.
But we haven't received a decision! As things are we can continue in a bubble working our land so no news is good news. Meanwhile though we wonder what the council may be building up to. The council could be awaiting our one planet development planning application before refusing it and going for a better prepared enforcement.
Your thoughts and experiences in cases would be appreciated.
take care
