Hi Shepie - how long has this been happening? Have you tried any kind of treatment? Our first thoughts would be to ensure the eyes were as clean as possible and then put some drops in them because it sounds a bit like conjunctivitis. If we have time tomorrow am we will pop into our pet vet and ask what kind of drops would be best to use.

Interested to learn about the sugar beet because we once asked a question about it and the answers we received put us completely off using any.

Hi Shepie, have you solved the blindness issue, I was just thinking do you have any old painted wood in your ark construction or elsewhere in the enclosure as the lead in old paint can cause blindness , and pigs as you know will chew anything.

Regards,

Billie

Hi thanks for the replies , i checked this morning and her eye balls are fine and the vet seems to think conjunctivitus is the problem causing swelling round the eye so i have some cream to treat it every other day , i will let you know how it goes .

No paint / lead billie thanks
