Dear David

Just found your website. I will order your book today which sounds very interesting. I have owned a smallholding and wanted to go more full time on it.

Having a limited budget, I looked abroad, namely Portugal; A green, fertile and very friendly country yet only 2 hours from the UK, The land is very cheap with the cost of living about 50% that of the UK. I'm just about to launch SMALL HOLDINGS PORTUGAL. This will be on a national basis, it will cover everything associated with relocation and finding land, building ETC.

I feel your new book will also help anybody that may wish to totally understand not just the dream but the reality of having and working a Smallholding.

I realise there could be a slight clash with what your achieving in the UK. However I will await your thoughts on this.

Best regards

David Evans

Hi I'm not sure that my new book would work for portugal i have produced it for the UK it covers all the animal, gowing and skill based businesses that could be run from a smallholding. I don't know how things work in Portugal what animals to keep or what to grow also i give levels of investment required for each enterprise and the likely returns but this would only relate to values in the UK. So i don't want to sell you a book that will be of no use to you in Portugal.
