For anyone who has an appeal looming - this may help you .... when you find out the name of the Planning Inspector designated to your Appeal Case you can request from the Inspectorate information regarding any of their other appeal decisions. I have done this a few times now and have requested for example their appeal decisions concerning agriculture for, say the last two years. You will receive a spread sheet of the the Appeal references and then you can google the details.

If you are still in the process of submitting evidence, or even final comments regarding LPA statements, it may help you to decipher how the Inspector's mind works and adjust your statement accordingly.
