How about if your land is in a national park does the national park have the power to over rule planning regulations

i have land in a national park and have a real hard time to even set up an agricultural business!
they just will not let me no shed no polytunnel no caravan no access no to all
i can get funding for planting of trees from forestry commission but they need the ok of the national park
and yep they said no  i still planted trees but pay out of my own pocket
but no funding for keeping them i just wanted to make a statement

i want to grow plants (nursery) in combination with chickens for their eggs and meat

Hi
The national park do operate under their own set of rules it sounds like you have an article 4 direction on your land which means you need their permission to do anything, this is why i advise people to avoid buying land in a national park unfortunately you could not have been aware of this prior to its purchase.

Hi,
I have land in the Lake District National Park.  You can plant trees, you have the right for a shed for your agi needs, plus you can site a caravan/static as long as you don't sleep in it for more than 28days of the year( longer just don't get caught). Don't give up from my experience the planners try to put you off from doing anything in the national park - there is a lot you can do I went to Rural Enterprise and they paid for me to see a Planning Consultant which really opened my eyes to what I can do - might be worth you going down that route.
I have 4.5 acres.
