Hi

Does anybody have any phone numbers that might do a borehole at a reasonable price (on the cheap) in the south wales area.

So far had 3 quotes of £6,000 approx not including vat.
Does anybody know of anyone that can beat that price but also
trustworthy.

Thanks Jav

Hi Jav
Have you looked in the farmers weekly / country smallholding etc , the only one i can think of at the moment is Saxton deep drillers .

Do you know what soil type you have or more importantly sub soil and type on bed rock as this can make a huge difference , some need lining like green sand etc... and some dont so only cost half that amount.

There are huge variations in price depending on what you wan`t if for ?

Sad as it may be, I tried this plastic pipe method in my garden yesterday :D and it WORKS I also lost 3 stone going down the 6 feet, only had to go 6 feet as we have a river at the end of the garden. but it may be worth a try as it is a cheap method and you get an amazing work out.
