Would you share in my delight of slowing up idiots on rural roads ?

Hi Folks,

I help my good friend out each harvest time by driving tractor and grain trailers from the fields to the farm.

This is a small yet neccessary part of UK grain production, bread on the tables of the land, and barley in your beer etc.

I am as courteous as is possible when using minor country roads, and pull in if I have a couple of cars behind, but then you get the odd idiot, cutting through villages on the “rat-runs”, who throw themselves into a bad temper, hooting and hollering because I can only do about 10mph with 7 ton of grain on the back, and they will be 5mins later for work

I see road rage on major roads and motorways, and just avoid it, but this year I could “run out of deisel” somewhere, and block the lane with the cheap sports car clown stuck behind.

Perhaps it is a bit of the devil in me, but folks should be more tolerant of hard working vehicles and drivers.

Any thoughts ?

Bob
