UK: Were I to buy some land, would I need planning permission to plant trees for timber?
There is a plot of pastureland for sale near me that has basically been a bare field for the last ten years.
Were I to buy it, would I need planning permission to plant pine trees with the aim of harvesting them for timber? There would be no permanent structures on the site and it is a good mile or two from the nearest house/ road.
