Did anyone see the documentary yesterday on the plight of modern farmers in the UK yesterday? Obviously some are weathy like the game farmer, but most seem extremely hard done by. They have had their livilhood stolen by the supermarkets and the Government and they can’t seem to find a way out. In the face of a declining farming industry – what are your opinions on the way forward for those who work in the country side and don’t just live there? Opinions please.
this should be interesting – looking forward to some spin from the usually players. It would be intersesting to get some farmers on here, but they will propably be to busy.
