Can I park cars on land I have bought?
If I buy land in the UK. Without any planning permission. A sort of long term investment opportunity,
Am I allowed to park cars on it?
I am a car trader and Since last year my sales have been rising, Although I have room for about 4 on my road at one time, there is a plot of land near by that’s dirt cheap, but all I want is park on it.
Basically when the buyer shows up, I would like to take them to the plot to view the car they bought.
Is this allowed?
If so, Can I put paving slabs over the grass?

Probably not as you will be changing the use of the land. Before you buy it check with your local council planner whether or not you would be able to park on it.
I’d say it’s more of a question of whether or not you are on good terms with your neighbours. If they object then you’ll need retention permission for the paving slabs, but if they don’t then nobody has to know, unless the authorities come after you for selling dodgy motors and discover your unofficial salesroom.
Personally, I hope you can minimise the amount of grass you cover over and so avoid ruining the field’s aesthetic and wildlife value.
Even though YOU bought the property the city might not allow a lot of cars to be parked in the land in plain view of the community. this also depends on where you live and if anybody complains to the city about it. maybe you should consider a wood fence to enclose it so no one can see in enough to complain.
