hi we only have 9 3/4 acres of land we have be offered 3 acres of land to graze our male sheep on free of charge can we include this in our smallholding size or do we have to rent it first

you using f2f tecniques? rent it, even if the rent is token in the name of your smallholding - just in case anyone asks/checks. just use a tenancy agreement off the internet. you and the landlord don't care, its just for ticking the box

l thought that might be the case but don't know if he will agree he may be worried l am trying to tie him in to long term l can use it all summer to keep the grass down every summer
can l use a grazing agreement.
